Event Details

MUSTANG BEEHIVE MUSTANG BEEHIVE
The greatest collection of Black & Yellow Mustangs . . .

Well now, this event just quite didn’t turn out as anticipated. The Yellow Mustang Registry really got fired up and outnumbered the Black Mustangs. However all that did was heat up the challenge for 2009. Buzz in here June 5-7, 2009 to see the latest beehive of activity. Bee here to witness the frenzy as many MORE black & yellow Mustangs fly in to make the Carlisle Fairgrounds their hive. We wonder how many members from these two very prestigious clubs will show up to make history. They will show us how get together and bring a club to the All-Ford Nationals! Perhaps one of these clubs, or YOUR’S will be in competition for the Coolest Club Hangout Award?

    COOLEST CLUB HANGOUT AWARD
    Inaugural award well received . . .

Our brand new award was very well received by all the club participants. There are a number of clubs preparing themselves for the 2009 show and trying to unseat our 2008 champion, the Bad Mustangs Club. In order to win the award, a club must decorate their club tent in a manner that makes it “The Place” to hangout for the weekend at the All-Ford Nationals. Plan your theme and your decorations well because there are a host of clubs vying for the honor.

SVT 15th ANNIVERSARY REUNION SVT 15th ANNIVERSARY REUNION
    WOW! What a turnout!

Let the world know that SVT owners are a wild and crazy bunch of car crazy funatics! After 15 years of Ford Special Vehicle Team vehicles offered to the market, the SVT Owners Association planned a SVT 15th Anniversary Reunion. WOW, is all that can be said about their response! Neither Marcie Cipriani of the SVTOA nor anyone else could ever have guessed that so many of these special vehicles would show up. But show up in droves they did. Once the parking issues were resolved, everyone had a great time. Carlisle Events apologizes to all those owners for any inconvenience. We assure you that will not happen again. THANKS for working through the issues with us!

20th Anniversary of the Merkur Scorpio 20th Anniversary of the Merkur Scorpio
Organized by The Merkur Club of America

We want to offer special thanks and congratulations to Brad Anesi and the rest of the gang from the Merkur Club of America. These guys really know how to pull together and convince a LARGE group of club members to come out in numbers and play. Holy Cow, almost 100 cars attended the All-Ford Nationals. In fact, they won the Club Participation Award. And they have given notice to the Bad Mustangs Club that they have their sights set on winning the Coolest Club Hangout Award. Looks like the 2009 All-Ford Nationals is going to be a very interesting place to be, especially if you are a club member!

40TH Anniversary Reunion for Cobra Jet Powered Vehicles 40TH Anniversary Reunion for Cobra Jet Powered Vehicles
      Cobra Jets ruled the grounds!

Celebrating the 40TH Anniversary of the birth of Cobra Jet Powered Vehicles was a blast! The CJ Reunion, the picnic and the commemorative shirt were all sellouts! Ford Cobra Jets outnumbered the Mercury counterparts, but who cares? Just having all these special vehicles here to ogle was something beyond belief.

History was made during the weekend with 11 of the “135” lightweight cars here. (Only 50 were built with about 24 surviving today.) Never before, and perhaps never again, were there that many of these really special cars on display at the same time. Fans of the Cobra Jets and drag racing were blown away by the display, and the personal appearance of the “real” drivers of the cars that made history in the 60’s. Legends like Al Joniec, Phil Bonner, Barrie Poole and even Dean Gregson from Tasca Ford who sold all these cars, wowed their fans and the public as well. What an event! Hope you didn’t miss it!

      50TH Anniversary - ALL 1958 Fords, Lincolns & Mercurys 50TH Anniversary - ALL 1958 Fords, Lincolns & Mercurys
1958 is known as the year of change in the auto industry.

Many models were changed drastically this model year. After the success of the Shoe Box era, Ford & Lincoln-Mercury made many changes to their product lines resulting in some truly unique one-of-a-kind vehicles that remain popular and highly collectable today. Our display of 1958 FOMOCO production vehicles was very cool. We hope you got the chance to check them all out.

FORD MOTOR COMPANY FORD MOTOR COMPANY
        Ford and Lincoln-Mercury Test Drives . . .

Ford and Lincoln-Mercury brought a boat load of cars for their Test Drive session. Hope you had the chance to take a ride in the vehicle of your choice. We also hope you hope you were happy enough with that test drive to purchase your next FOMOCO product?

Special Guest: Jon Runyan Special Guest: Jon Runyan
Pro Bowl Tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles

Veteran Pro Bowl Tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles and "Built Ford Tough" spokesperson, Jon Runyan enjoyed his visit to the All-Ford Nationals. He got the chance to speak with many Blue Oval fans & enthusiasts, as well as fans of the Eagles during his autograph session. Jon also made time to wander the Carlisle Fairgrounds in search of that “special vehicle” for which he has been looking.

Special Guest: Funkmaster Flex Special Guest: Funkmaster Flex
There is Nobody Bigger in the Game . . .

Funkmaster Flex sets trends. His name is known around the world and for more than a decade now. He was a very popular stop on the autograph trail around the All-Ford Nationals. Meeting & Greeting fans did not stop Flex from finding time to purchase some special vehicles for his collection. Will they become canvas for his latest work of art or end up as part of his personal collection? Only Flex knows for sure. But we know some lucky folks have Flex’s signature on a Bill of Sale. Pretty cool, eh?

DRAG RACE 101 DRAG RACE 101
Have a burning passion to acquire a greater knowledge of drag racing?

Many folks had the drag racing passion, and took time to share with our racing legends. They also made the “Trip to the Track” to enjoy some racing at the newly renovated Quarter Aces Drag-O-Way (formerly South Mountain Dragway). It is 660 feet, or a one-eighth mile of an awesome track. The launch pad is as sticky as any well prepared NHRA or IHRA track at a national event! Some of drag racing’s most notable stars like Al Joniec were joined by other drag racing stars like Phil Bonner, Barrie Poole and Sam Auxier. They shared some of their tricks of the trade and entertained the huge crowd on hand with exhibition passes in the actual race cars they raced back in the 60’s and 70’s. It was awesome to say the least!

        Indoor Invitational Display
        This is not a competition area . . .

Our invitational buildings housed many special Invitational Displays consisting of Cobra Jet powered vehicles and other vehicles of significance. There were so many truly quality show cars that one did not know which to check out next. Many thanks to all who shared their prized possession with all of us.

To have your prized Ford or Lincoln-Mercury vehicle considered for one of our indoor invitational displays, please complete the 2009 Invitational Display Form and send it with photos of the exterior, interior and engine along with any magazine coverage and a description of vehicle to:

Axcelerated Motorsports: The Carlisle Dyno Guy! Axcelerated Motorsports: The Carlisle Dyno Guy!
Dyno Dale was at Carlisle All-Ford Nationals!

Dyno Dale was here and was very, very busy throughout the weekend. Axcelerated Motorsports is the official dyno of Carlisle Events and frequents all Carlisle Car and Truck shows throughout the season. Axcelerated provides mobile dyno tuning for cars and trucks using their Dynojet 248 chassis dynamometer. Next time you’re here, find out how much horsepower your car or truck really has! Their wide band O2 monitoring will determine if all that precious fuel is making power or just being wasted out the tail pipes.

Attention Clubs! Coming early or staying late? Club rates may apply for off peak hours at the events. A minimum number of cars may be required. Availability varies by event.

For more information, please contact the Carlisle Dyno Guy at 215.297.8139 or dale@axceleratedmotorsports.com

        Installation Alley Installation Alley
        Sponsored by A & A Auto Stores

Many folks got Exhausted at A & A! If you are seeking a new exhaust system for your Ford, do what the masses did at the All-Ford Nationals and look no further! Installation Alley worked throughout the weekend installing exhaust after exhaust. Why bother getting dirty? Installation Alley featured Borla and Flowmaster products with installations on many models. Next season prepare to get exhausted properly!

          Activities Corner
There was fun and excitement near the stage…

The Carlisle shows are always exciting and for the All-Ford Nationals (and all the other shows as well) we turned up the heat with the Activities Corner! Many happy fans tried their rodeo skills on the Mechanical Bull. Some even found relief from the hot weather testing their pitching arm at the Dunk Tank. The proceeds from the Dunk Tank went to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Sunday Giveaway Car Sunday Giveaway Car
            1995 Ford Mustang GT . . .
            And to the Winner . . .

Present on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 3pm during the All-Ford Nationals stood the lucky Robert M. Diale. He clutched the winning ticket and excitedly exchanged it for the 1995 Ford Mustang GT we provided. Be sure to be present next year for your chance to win.

On top of all this, we had our very popular “regular” features. They included a very large Manufacturers Midway, Swap Meet Vendors, Awesome Food Vendors, Beauty Contest, Burnout Contest and a Rock Crawling Display that drew many onlookers thinking about taking a chance at the rocks with their vehicle. Many others actually attempted the Crawl with some very interesting, and at times funny circumstances. Suffice it to say, the All-Ford Nationals was one very busy place over the weekend. Plan to be here June 5-7, 2009 for your chance to share that fun with lots of Blue Oval fans & enthusiasts. See ya then!
